Darabif Team at the World Halal Forum, Kuala Lumpur Convention Center

It was an opportunity not to be missed for the Darabif team as they participated in the world's largest international halal trade fair (MIHAS) at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre recently.

Darabif showcased their products including the newly launched “Extreme Meat Snacks” which is gaining popularity amongst Malaysians. The delicious aroma from the beef patties cooked by the team filled the air which attracted many passers by, who are lucky enough to have a taste at it.

Within minutes, the booth was crowded with curious people who wanted to find out what the fuss was all about.

The team was very delighted when the Prime Minister, Dato’ Sri. Abdullah Hj. Ahmad Badawi made a brief visit to their booth and sampled some of their products.

It was indeed a memorable event for Darabif and participating in the exhibition was a pleasure.

Darabif is sure to partake in such events in the future to come. Be sure to visit us then!

Darabif "Dings!" Mobile Roadshow

Darabif Sdn Bhd had organized a 2 month roadshow which started on the 1st January until the 11th February 2007 in order to extensively promote and introduce its
“Extreme Meat Snacks”; the Darabif “Dings!” as a new range of snacks in town.

Darabif “Dings!” is a light snack with a floss like texture that comes in a handy and practical packaging made convenient for people on the go who are looking for a healthy snack option to munch on.

The roadshow was successfully organized by Darabif’s event organizer, Promoactive (M) Sdn Bhd. An attractive Nissan Frontier was decorated with eye catching designs taken from the packaging of the snacks and was used for transportation during the roadshow. The team covered almost all of the Petronas and BHP gas stations within the Klang Valley as their prime roadshow locations.

The objectives of the road show is to do a direct marketing campaign, get first-timers to try the product, encourage brand loyalty, create brand awareness, explore new market segment and to study consumers’ behavior towards the new product offered. This was done by giving out free samples to the public who are within the area while educating them about the snacks and Darabif as a whole.

The results from the surveys, market research and feedback from the public were promising. Most of the people interviewed were not aware of the product and only got to know about it during the roadshow. Most of them are satisfied with the taste and the price and they would be sure to buy it in the future. One of the advices is to do more on branding and promotional activities to create the desired awareness.

Darabif “Dings!” comes in two delicious flavours; Chicken Floss and Beef Floss. They are now available at leading retailers and petro-marts around Malaysia.

Ever wonder how extreme tastes like? Grab one of these tasty snacks today and you’ll find out!
